If you suspect that your computer has fallen
victim to hackers or a virus, please contact the OIT Help Desk at (301)
405-1500. You may also contact them via their website.
They will assist you in diagnosing and correcting the problem. In
order to collect information you may need durig that call, first
download and complete this form.
If you are outside the University and wish to report unauthorized activity from UMD hosts, please send email to abuse@umd.edu.
Please be sure to indicate the local IP address involved and if
possible, provide us with the attack details logged on your computer.
The more information that you share, the more we will be able to help.
