Change Controls

Managing change to the production environment is a very important aspect of managing IT. Best practice dictates that a change management policy should exist along with detailed procedures for how a change is to move from paper to production. Once these documents are in place it is expected that IT staff will follow these guidelines and use it whenever a production change is necessary. OIT has a change policy in place and it is expected that it will be used whenever production changes are needed.
